1. Who operates this site
Dock & Marine Decking is operated by Ipe Woods USA, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy describes the Dock & Marine Decking website, including its hosted preview and dockmarinedecking.com when connected. It covers this site’s guides, planning tools and inquiry service.
For privacy questions or requests, email help@ipewoods.com with “Dock & Marine privacy” in the subject. You do not need to submit a material inquiry to make a privacy request.
2. Information you choose to provide
When online requests are enabled and you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, message and request type. You may also provide a phone number, company, optional text-message consent, and project information such as location, dock type, water exposure, measurements, material preferences and planning notes.
If you attach a saved project brief, that brief is included in the request. We also record the originating site and page path, submission reference, timestamps, delivery status and administrative delivery or qualification decisions. Do not include payment-card details, government identifiers or other sensitive information in project notes or inquiry fields. This site does not process payments.
3. Planning tools and browser storage
Ordinary tool inputs are held in the current page. When you choose to save a brief, carry a shortlist or use a material schedule in a request, the site stores a copy in session storage in your browser tab. Saving or downloading a brief does not submit an inquiry. Project notes are sent to our inquiry service when you explicitly submit a form that includes them.
You can review attached context and choose “Remove all saved project context” on the material-request page. Browser controls can also clear site data. Session storage is generally limited to the tab’s session, but browser restore features may retain it. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them. Clearing browser data does not delete information previously submitted to us.
If you use a browser assistant or other third-party tool to read or operate the page, its access to your visible information is governed by your settings and that provider’s terms.
4. Technical information, cookies and security
Requests to the site necessarily expose technical information such as IP address, browser/request headers and requested URLs to hosting and security infrastructure. Hosting providers may maintain operational logs. The application uses a hashed identifier derived from the site, request IP address and hour to limit repeated submissions. Those rate-limit records expire after two hours and are removed during later submission processing.
Our application does not install advertising pixels or third-party marketing analytics. Hosting, security and sign-in services may use essential cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Where access requires sign-in, the hosting service processes account identity; authorized administrator identities are also recorded with administrative actions. Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change the essential request handling described here. We do not use this application to track your browsing across unrelated websites for targeted advertising.
Saved inquiry payloads are encrypted in the application’s database, and access to administration is restricted. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. You should protect downloaded files and access to a shared browser or device.
5. Why we use information
We use submitted information to respond to questions, prepare or discuss requested materials, follow up on your project, maintain inquiry and delivery records, prevent abuse, investigate service problems and meet applicable legal obligations. Administrative qualification records help us distinguish useful sales inquiries from unreviewed or unsuitable requests; they are not automated decisions about your eligibility for essential services.
Providing an optional phone number does not by itself select text-message consent. Where offered, the text-message checkbox is separate and optional. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out of texts. Message frequency depends on the inquiry and communications you request.
6. When information is disclosed
A submitted inquiry is processed by this site’s backend and forwarded to Ipe Woods USA’s customer relationship management system so the team can respond. Service providers supporting hosting, security, storage, sign-in and CRM processing may process information needed for those functions. The current implementation uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure, with a Base44-hosted CRM endpoint.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable obligations. This site does not sell inquiry information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. External manufacturer links are optional; following them takes you to a separate provider with its own privacy practices.
7. Retention
Browser notes, downloaded files, security records and submitted inquiries have different retention behavior. Browser notes and downloads are described above. Inquiry, delivery and administrative audit records do not automatically expire in the current application. They may remain for inquiry follow-up, customer relationship management, security, dispute handling or applicable recordkeeping needs until reviewed and deleted.
You can contact us about information you previously submitted. Deleting a local brief does not remove a CRM record, and removing a record from one system may not immediately remove backups or records that must be retained for legal or security reasons.
8. Your choices and requests
You can read the guides without sending a material inquiry. You can omit optional fields, decline optional text consent and remove a saved brief before submission. Depending on the law applicable to you and our processing, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a copy, or object to certain uses.
Send requests to help@ipewoods.com and identify Dock & Marine Decking. Include enough information to locate the inquiry, such as the email used and a submission reference if available; do not send sensitive identity documents unless a secure verification process is arranged. We may need to verify your identity or authority and explain any applicable limitations. Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies.
9. Children and processing locations
The site is intended for adults planning or managing projects and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Hosting and service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.
10. Policy changes and related services
We will post revisions on this page and update its effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. The separate Ipe Woods USA website and purchasing services have their own privacy disclosures; this policy describes the practices of this specialist site.
